John Concha Racing, comprising of John Concha and co-driver Joe McGrody, is excited to make their rally debut at the Waste Management Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally on June 1-2 in a Team O’Neil-prepared 2011 Ford Fiesta.

The Philadelphia-based team has built an impressive resume competing at local autocross, RallyCross and time attack events in cars ranging from Suzukis to Subarus. John Concha chose the Ford Fiesta platform for rally racing due to the success proven by Rally America’s other Fiesta drivers.

“We need to give Chris Duplessis, Dillon Van Way, Ed McNelly and Verena Mei some 2WD competition,” Concha said. “Really, the Ford Fiesta is affordable with the heart of the rally car.”

The team’s family and friends, who share the same passion for the sport, will serve as crew, while also providing emotional support.

“It will be an experience we will share together,” McGrody said, “and make the whole rally better when we get to service.”

In preparation for the STPR, John Concha Racing is offering fans the chance to place their name on the hood of their 2011 Ford Fiesta. Every name purchaser will receive a certificate signed by the driver and co-driver.
